Project Manager

As a Project Manager at SSI, you’ll be the driving force behind our projects, responsible for developing project plans, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring project success from start to finish. This role requires exceptional leadership and a strategic mindset to align project goals with our overall business objectives.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, oversee execution, and monitor progress to ensure quality and timeline standards are met.
  • Agile Leadership: Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Team & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, SQAs, designers) to define requirements and prioritize initiatives. You’ll also proactively communicate with all stakeholders to provide updates, identify problems, and implement solutions.
  • Resource & People Management: Recruit, discipline, and manage a team of software developers, SQAs, and designers. You’ll coach team members on best practices and set clear goals and metrics for each team to ensure they are met.
  • Process & Strategy: Create and implement efficient processes that enable teams to move quickly. Contribute to strategic planning and review by providing insights and recommendations.
  • Risk & Change Management: Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation plans. Review and propose modifications to project plans to incorporate beneficial changes.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Create and deliver regular project progress reports detailing milestones and deliverables. Analyze the economic aspects of project plans, providing actionable feedback on cost-benefit and ROI.
  • Continuous Improvement: Anticipate future project needs by communicating with customers and staying informed on industry trends. Proactively seek opportunities to add value and enhance department reputation.
